Chanelle S. Reynolds, MBA

Chanelle S. Reynolds is the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Lead at the Washington Commanders, the first person to ever have this role. 8 years ago she started her career as an account executive in the NBA G League at the Philadelphia 76ers NBA G League Affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.

Chanelle has achieved accolades such as being named 40 under 40 by the Delaware Business Times, and has been featured in media such as Business Insider, XONecole.com, Sheen Magazine, NBC Sports, Fox Soul, and more.

Chanelle started with the Commanders as the Director of Group Sales, where she launched the team’s group sales program and was responsible for  developing her team of account executives while creating ticket sales strategy. While fulfilling this big task, simultaneously, Chanelle founded the Commanders’ first employee resource group alongside other key colleagues. The Washington Commanders’ Black Engagement Network is an employee resource group designed to serve employees of the African diaspora at the organization. After two years of leading the Black Engagement Network, Chanelle pivoted to leading the team’s holistic approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion full-time.

Chanelle is a proud HBCU graduate of Delaware State University, and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She has a passion for equipping HBCU students with necessary tools to not only “make it” in this industry, but to have the confidence to show up authentically as themselves. She is also an active member of the National Black MBA Association, DC Chapter.

When Chanelle isn’t breaking glass ceilings in heels, she is pursuing her other endeavors as an author, speaker, and recently, a podcast host. Chanelle has spoken on notable stages such as TED Talk, the Congressional Black Caucus, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google,  The Black Sport Business Symposium powered by ESPN, various universities, and more!
